Couples looking for a charming getaway

The staff were pretty good. Always there when you needed something. The breakfast on the rooftop, with the volcano in view, was a highlight and I can't forget how cozy the fireplace was in our room after a full day out.

It didn't come cheap, but honestly it was worth every penny.

Magnificent and marvellous location in Antigua, short walk to Antigua, Guatemala as well as the main plaza. Suite with a breathtaking view of smoking volcanos and a very comfortable bed plus the bedroom.

Wi-Fi was rather slow.

The staff were all EXCEPTIONALLY ATTENTIVE, and the room was well decorated with our private fireplace.

Charming hotel, beautiful suite, with a spacious terrace that offered us a level of privacy that enhanced our stay, and it was conveniently located near plenty of restaurants, allowing easy exploration of the area.

No negatives to mention.

From skeptic to superfan

The breakfast was DELICIOUS! Freshly made with locally sourced ingredients, and the staff genuinely treated us like family. The ambiance and decor transported me to another time.

Amazing rooftop view

The warm welcome by the staff made us feel right at home. Enjoying breakfast on the beautiful terrace with views of the volcano was the highlight of our stay.

The food was delicious, and my boys loved the pancakes! Anibel was super helpful, pointing us to the best spots in Antigua, and our room had a lovely terrace to relax in after a day out.

My kids wished there was a pool to cool off in.

An amazing experience at Posada del Angel. The warm, welcoming staff made our stay nice, and the rooftop breakfast views were stunning, though the noise from nearby guests was noticeable at times. The room was clean and well-decorated.

Charming rustic decor fills this hotel with character, complemented by an inviting rooftop setup that overlooks the nearby volcano. Enjoyable breakfasts on the terrace come with really good coffee and a peaceful garden ambiance.

The hotel felt dated and could use some updates, as certain aspects like the carpets and curtains appeared worn. The absence of keys for the main entrance made entering and exiting slightly inconvenient, requiring guests to knock for access. A minor but noticeable mosquito presence in the room added a bit of discomfort, though it wasn't overwhelming.

But the entrance looked simple. And the breakfast was fresh with delicious Guatemalan coffee. We loved having a cozy fireplace in the room. The staff was super attentive and made us feel at home.

Posada Del Angel features a charming rustic decor with vibrant flowers in every corner. The accessible layout and intimate size made it easy to enjoy the fine garden and rooftop terrace.

A few more breakfast options would enhance the experience.
